Chaim Lewkowicz, on behalf of the Crown elders, informed Marcin Zamoyski, the Crown treasurer, that they were waiting with the return of the allocation of the Jewish poll tax to the Crown Treasury until their meeting. He asked for directions where he should come, and in the event of postponing the meeting until the treasurer arrived from Radom, he suggested sending back the allocation of the May payment to the treasury. He asked for the protection of the treasurer against the activities of noble dietines, which imposed taxes on Jews.
